Family time has always been important to us. Gathering together to share stories of the day offers a simple yet powerful bond to be cherished. Consequently, we were inspired to create unique offerings where people could join together and savor flavorful, hearty, curated-with-love foods while spending time with those we hold closest. We are sticklers for quality food and proudly prepare everything with the finest ingredients available.
While our eldest grandson is featured as our company logo, we are blessed to share life with four more precious grands who all have integral parts to play in our story and each have significant menu items named after them.
We invite you to join us and enjoy spending time sharing good food with family and friends while making memories. Because of you, we have been able to live out a sweet dream and we are forever grateful.
OUR STORY
The first “Batter Up Pancake” was made in Santa Barbara, California, by the patriarch of our family. Every Sunday morning friends and family would gather around the hot griddle anticipating their turn to add their favorite ingredients to personalize and then devour their light, fluffy cakes. After hearing for decades that we should open a restaurant to share our special pancakes, that’s exactly what we did.
In 2008, the very first brick-and-mortar Batter Up Pancakes was born. We are most grateful to be able to share our passion for fresh, beautiful food with you all.
